The Year of the Bard
The Year of the Bard is the largest statewide Shakespearean art festival in the history of the First State! This year long interdisciplinary celebration has something for everyone featuring programming from OperaDelaware, First State Ballet Theatre, Delaware Shakespeare Festival, The Grand, SPARX, Mastersingers of Wilmington and the Delaware Art Museum.
Be sure to pick up The Bard Card when attending your first Bard event. Pickup a card at any Bard production, show it to the box office staff when purchasing your tickets, and receive a special stamp qualifying you for entry into the free tickets raffle – the more you Bard, the better your chances!
