THE TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA Auditions – 2013 Festival
Delaware Shakespeare Festival is accepting headshots and resumes for non-union actors for its 2013 summer production, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, directed by Samantha Bellomo (Resident Director, People’s Light and Theatre Company). Audition dates: Saturday, February 9 from 11am-5pm and Sunday, February 10 from 5-8pm. Rehearsals begin June 11 and will be held on weeknights/weekend days. Production runs July 12-28 on the grounds of Rockwood Park in Wilmington, DE, with a tour performance in southern Delaware during the week of July 29. Seeking actors of all ethnic and racial backgrounds, as well as actors who also play musical instruments. All roles paid. Please note: DSF does not provide artist housing. No phone calls please.

College Apprentice Company Auditions & Interviews
In association with its 2013 summer production of Two Gentlemen of Verona, DSF offers apprenticeships for college students who wish to gain professional experience before graduation. Apprentices work with the Festival’s professional directors, actors, designers, and staff to gain hands-on experience both on and off the stage. DSF offers performance, directing, production/stage management, and management/front-of-house apprenticeships.
All apprenticeships besides management apprenticeships begin June 11, 2013. Managements apprenticeships begin July 1, 2013. Two Gentlemen rehearses nights and weekends, and runs from July 12-28, with a tour performance in southern Delaware during the week of July 29. All apprentices will be offered a series of Master Classes. Along with the professional DSF technical staff, ALL APPRENTICES will perform set-up and strike duties each day of tech and performances. Modest stipend. College credit may be available.
Interviews/auditions to be held Saturday, March 2.To apply, please email a resume, two references, and a cover letter explaining your interest in the program to apprentice@delshakes.org by February 22.
